Pros: choosing your own path,weapons,skills,feats
,powers
Cons: graphics, leaves you wanting more to play although it took me 41 hours to beat on my own
this game fully deserves game of the year,if not a contender for game of the decade.I thought it was cool, customizing your character and being responsible for the fate of the entire galaxy, but it just made you want a sequel which kotor 2 gave.
Pros: Great game for lazy bums that just play all day
Cons: A few gliches
Hi my name is justin, and i just beat this game(15 hours earlier than the top players) and i thought every thing was challenging but the hardest thing was darth malak at the end.
Pros: Not much
Cons: Plenty
This game sucked ! How anyone can say different is beyond me.
It was a major disappointment. I also should have done my research. RPG ??? I guess that means Role Playing Game?
Ill never forget that now. I mean you have to fumble through all this character role building
Continuing on, even when the action starts, you dont have any control over it. All you do is target your enemies, and then the game takes over in actually firing your weapons and what not. All you do is choose what kinda weapons and skills you and the members of your party use. Then when an enemy approaches, you can either engage them, or leave them alone.
Another thing that sucked was practically every time you went into another room or field, the game had to pause and load more of the game from the disk. I mean half the time youre waiting for the game to reload.
Thank goodness I didnt pay for this piece of crap.
Pros: Star Wars
Cons: can't think of any
a great game, easily 2003 game of the year, already won it from a couple orginizations. I love this game and rank it as high as Halo.
Pros: Excellent graphics, intricate story line.
Cons: difficult to control character
Is George Lucas just making stuff up as he goes along. This has nothing to do with ANY star wars movie I have ever seen. I am enjoying the game, but it doesn't correspond with the movie. I don't really like the character control, but I am a die hard Star Wars fan and would recomend this game to anyone who enjoys RPGs
Pros: Just the right difficulty, easy to keep the game moving
Cons: Stability was occasionally a problem but PC performance brings PC problems.
A great story line and flashy graphics are a Lucas Arts standard, but what really impressed me was turn based combat with just the right amount of complexity. Spend a few moments planning your combats instead of learning a clumsy action interface for hours, and your done. Worst comes to worst you can read the full numerical details of the combat (I only needed to do this twice) and you can find what your character is lacking and move on. Not that this game is easy, but it was just the right amount of difficulty.
Who wants to write notes for days and days about who you met and what quest you are currently completing? It sure is not me. I love the active quest log feature where the details of who where and what you agreed to and a non-spoiler hint on where you can find them. There is even a completed quest log, if you skip through a conversation too quickly and missed what happened, you can read the quest log instead of going back to a save. The organization in this game allows you to keep the momentum moving foreword.
This game totally blew me away! When I first started playing it I thought it was nothing special, the beginning of the game is a little dull, but once you land on Taris it completely turns around. I've never had more fun playing an RPG. Maybe it's because I'm a big Star Wars geek or somethin', but this game is great. The plot twists and turns took me completely off guard. Never expected the game to end that way. Plus, the game offers a pretty cool replay factor. Bottom line...AWESOME!
I am more of an action game fan than an RPG fan, but I love this game. Anyone who is looking for a fantastic gaming experience should take a look at this game. It has just about everything. Star Wars fans will love it even more. This game gets and A+. I hope Xbox puts more games like this one out in the future.
I've played starwars rpg...this game is as close as programming possible to that. Overall this game rocked!
This game is so deep, so complex, so amazing that it is like crack! Once you start the game you won't want to stop. The story is amazing! The way you can mold your character into either a pristine Jedi of the light or the galaxy's cruelist Dark Lord. Buy it, love it.
This game is so immersive, so detailed, and so original that it will make Thousands of Star Wars fans and many will start liking RPGs.
the most innovative game in recent memory. simply awesome
This game is without a doubt the best game for Xbox.
Awesome game, fun as hell. Even a good diologue system where you choose your own responses that could even change the story. Battle system is fun. Can see a few minor flaws and bugs, but nothing serious. Otherwise perfect game.
it a tight game though i still cant belive that you cant kill anyone you want to
Damn, what a great addiction...I would dream about it, close my eyes and see it...every waking minute thinking about it....thank God I beat before my Stats Final!...What a winner!!!! Long live the Force...and yes, Im a nerd... but hell, this game would make any Hollywood Joe Cool Guy into one!
Awesome game, could have been some better graphics in some parts but its so fun u wont care!!!
This is a star wars game for the fanatic- as opposed to many that have come before. Most games focus on a character fighting his/her way through a sequence of "levels", progressing through a weak plot until the game is over. This game focuses instead on numerous plots and sub-plots. most of the time, to "Master" the game, you must have quick fingers, great reflexes. the ability to find enimies and destroy them. this game brings a welcome relief to the monotonous field by using a turn-based fighting system. you will no longer be killed by another just because he can press the x and y buttons quicker than you. to master the game, you must get experience (mainly through advancing plots, instead of killing hordes of people)and make your character better.as a jedi, you can construct and imp[rove your lightsaber, and can personally chosse between the light side, the dark side, or be a rebel- doing whatever seems fit when you feel like it. one of the best titles for the XBOX, and one of the best games for star wars in a long time.
