this is one of the best console games i have ever played, and i don't even normally enjoy RPG's. there are a few minor flaws, but even so, this is game is addictive, fun and has tons of replay value. first the faults: 1.) limited character... options. you only have a few different faces and other options to choose from to create your character. it would be nice to be able to customize your main player better. 2.) graphics are a little rough around the edges. overall the graphics are nice but not special. there is some blockiness and not all the animations are crisp. 3.) control of party members is sometimes frustrating. if you run into a corner, somtimes your party members will block you in and you will have to switch to them, move them out of the way and then switch back. also, sometimes your party members will get stuck on a corner of a building somewhere and you will have to wait a little while for them to get unstuck and catch up. 4.) long running distances. sometimes, especially on tatooine, there are huge open spaces that you will have to traverse back and forth in order to complete certain tasks. that can be a little boring.other than those minor flaws, this game is quite enthralling. the plot is great (and movie-worthy), the depth of play is incredible, the fact that you can play as light or dark side jedi is a nice touch, and there are plenty of fun side-quests. all-in-all, a great game that will give most people 100+ hours of gaming fun. This is what the first two SW movies ("Menace" and "Attack") should have been. If you're a Star Wars fan or like RPG's you'll love this game anyone else will merely think it's great.

I am more of an action game fan than an RPG fan, but I love this game. Anyone who is looking for a fantastic gaming experience should take a look at this game. It has just about everything. Pros: choosing your own path,weapons,skills,feats
,powers

Cons: graphics,leaves you wanting more to play although it took me 41 hours to beat on my own

this game fully deserves game of the year,if not a contender for game of the decade.I thought it was cool,customizing your character and being responsible for the fate of the entire galaxy,but it just made you want a sequel which kotor 2 gave.

Is George Lucas just making stuff up as he goes along. This has nothing to do with ANY star wars movie I have ever seen. I am enjoying the game, but it doesn't correspond with the movie. Exciting start to finish

Pros: Just the right difficulty, easy to keep the game moving

Cons: Stability was occasionally a problem but PC performance brings PC problems.

A great story line and flashy graphics are a Lucas Arts standard, but what really impressed me was turn based combat with just the right amount of complexity. Spend a few moments planning your combats instead of learning a clumsy action interface for... hours, and your done. Worst comes to worst you can read the full numerical details of the combat (I only needed to do this twice) and you can find what your character is lacking and move on. Not that this game is easy, but it was just the right amount of difficulty. Who wants to write notes for days and days about who you met and what quest you are currently completing? It sure is not me. I love the active quest log feature where the details of who where and what you agreed to and a non-spoiler hint on where you can find them. There is even a completed quest log, if you skip through a conversation too quickly and missed what happened, you can read the quest log instead of going back to a save. The organization in this game allows you to keep the momentum moving foreword. Read more Less
