Pros: Hayden Christensen Is in it!!!
Cons: none
I loved the movie!!! It rocks!!!! Not only because it is star Wars but because Hayden Christensen is in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!! I have watched it like idk how many times and saw something different about it every time!!!!!!! It is a great movie!!!!!!!!!
Pros: The sound and picture quality of the film are terrific! One wishes the story matched the technical craftsmanship of the digital artists.
Cons: The dialogue between Anakin and Padme will make most people cringe. Hayden Christensen is only slightly better as Anakin Skywalker than Jake Lloyd was in Episode I.
While Attack of the Clones is in many ways an improvement on The Phantom Menace, it does not deliver the same impact of the first two films from the original trilogy. If this movie reveals anything, it is that George Lucas has not rediscovered his director's touch yet and his real skill lies in producing films. Ewan McGregor, who does his best to mimic Alec Guiness in his mannerisms and appearance, is up to the task as Obi-Wan Kenobi despite the deficiencies of the Lucas penned script. One wishes he got more screen time. His search for the truth as to who is behind the plot to kill Senator Amidala is far more interesting than Anakin and Padme's budding relationship. A couple of new villains enter the picture, Jango Fett, ably played by Temuera Morrison, and Count Dooku performed by the incomparable Christopher Lee. The individual battles between Obi-Wan and Jango Fett, and Dooku and Yoda are the most memorable sequences in the film. The large set battles that Star Wars fans have come to expect from the saga is perhaps less spectacular in Clones because it lacks some of the oomph of the other films. However, it is bigger and better than Menace, which is a big plus. Natalie Portman does her best work when she is fighting rather than when she's required to engage in the silly conversations with Christensen. Her versatility as an actress can't be understated. She could easily be the next female action hero would she desire it. Among the other highlights from the film, Samuel L. Jackson finally gets to step out of his seat in the Jedi Council chamber and kick some butt. And thankfully, Jar Jar Binks is seen only briefly.
Pros: Plot, Visuals, Sound, Extras
Cons: Acting wasa bit uneven
This is a great DVd with amazing extra features. Following the success of EP. 1, Lucas continues the format on this and brings about a great productg. First off, I will tell the whole world that I LOVE this film and will defedend it to the end. The DVD looks phenomenal and the sound is overpowering. The one problem wit the actng is the unbalanced performance of Hayden. At times he's convincing and at others he's plain awful. The same with Portman. Of course, this is probably Lucas and the bluescreen's fault as both are probably hard to handle. Buy it definetly.
