Star Wars: Episode I: The Gungan Frontier PC Game

Straight from the 1999's Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace comes a game based on the characters and creatures featured on the silver screen. As either Naboo ruler Queen Amidala or Jedi Knight ObiWan Kenobi, Gungan leader Boss Nass has asked you to accompany R2D2 and Jar Jar Binks on a mission to one of Naboo's moons, where you will assist with the creation and maintenance of a colony of Gungans.

In addition to a training mission designed for easier use by firsttime or younger players, there are three difficulty levels, each with their own set of missions for a grand total of 13. In each mission you must bring your transport full of exotic plants and creatures to the moon (in the higher levels you load the transport yourself). With over 80 plants and animals to choose from, there is an array of life culled not only from The Phantom Menace but all of the Star Wars films. To keep everything straight, an encyclopedia called the Kresch is included.

Your goal is to establish and maintain the new ecosystem on the moon. You must make sure that the plants and animals thrive and are happy, and you are responsible for the colony of Gungans dependant on the plants and animals for food, shelter and clothing.

R2D2 assists you in analyzing good landing sites on the moon and in checking the progress of the plants and animals, while Jar Jar pops up every so often to offer advice (players who don't want to hear from the clumsy Gungan can put him to sleep instead). There is also an ER1C probe droid which monitors both the underwater Gungan city and the lifeforms on the surface, transmitting its data to R2.

As your ecosystem evolves, you can scan animals and plants to see how they're faring, stun animals to help predators catch their prey or save prey from predators, and capture and relocate animals and plants.
