    The one thing that is really remarkable about DS9, is that it gets better and better with each season. That's not to say that the earlier seasons aren't important or worth getting, in fact, just the opposite. To understand the complexity of t...he story that develops in the later seasons, one must know the story and motivations for the characters early on. I love this season, and think it is worth every cent. I think you will too. DS9 is not only the best Trek, but one of the best shows ever on television. :) Read more Less

    All I have to say is WOW! Seasons 1 & 2 provide a lot more backstory for the DS9 characters than I remembered, but here's where we get some real layers added. The main thing is finding out who Odo's people are and how that will affect thing...s for the rest of the series. And getting Sisko an ultra-cool ship - The Defiant - and something else he should've had from the beginning. I also appreciate the exploration of Dax's past hosts and other facets of what it means to be a Trill. Plus, it continues in a trend of very impactful multi-part series with "The Search" for a season opener and "Past Tense" mid-season. I'm floored by how great this season is, and I've enjoyed revisiting the whole thing! Read more Less

    This DVD collection is a must have for any sci-fi fan, and in my opinion is the best scifi series to ever air. We learn more about all the characters and it sets up the Dominion Wars that come up in later seasons as well as Odo's love for Kira. V...ery much worth the sticker price. Read more Less

    This was actually a pretty good ST series as the writers based it on Babylon 5 rather than the pool of dog sh#t they usually collect from.
