    The cold war allegory in this film works well, but I've personally never liked the Klingons. They just don't make for interesting adversaries. On the plus side though: that wonderful music score and the rura penthe photography - spectacular! What rea...lly lets it down is the weak ending. Not a patch on Star Trek II Read more Less

    This is a great Star Trek Movie! Nicholas Meyer co-wrote and directed this film! Star Trek VI Director Nicholas Meyer captures the true essense of what the original Star Trek is all about! Captain Kirk (William Shaner) and DR. McCoy (Deforest Kelly... in his very last Star Trek performace!)are framed for the Murdur of Klingon Chancelor Gorgon (David Warner) It is up to Captain Spock (Leonard Nimoy) and the rest of the USS Enterprise crew to prove of Kirk and McCoy's innocence. Mr. Sulu (George Takei) Becomes Captain Sulu of the USS Excelsior! Christopher Plummer (General Chang) plays the main villian in this film who tries to stop Kirk and Enterprise from interupting the assination of the Klingon Chancelor's Daughter. Great film!
