    death metal's finest!

    Pros: great sound quality recording, excellent guitar work, vocals discernable

    Cons: not as aggressive as i like but very listenable

    If you enjoy heavy music this one is definately worth having don't forget we're talking late 80's here, not when every one was attempting to be the fastest drummer or guitar player in the world.     plain and simple. Although Spirtual Healing is a little on the progressive side it still maintains its thrash metal speed and heaviness. I don't think Death changed their style one bit.

    Chuck is godly

    This album rules alot of death metal albums that have come out in the last decade. Chuck Shuldiner(R.I.P.) is one of the most creative metal musicians ever. Usually death metal lyrics reflect on things that a non-psychopathic people don't have the st...omach for. But these lyrics are actually intelligent. Also, Chuck's voice is actually tolerable(unlike Chris Barnes' from Cannibal Corpse which is just plain noise). Ifyou want to hear a truly well done death metal album, then try this out. Leprosy & Human are also very good, but this is without a doubt the best,hands down. Read more Less

    I liked spiritual healing, it is not
    as fast as 's earlier albums but
    has lots of technical fast shred type solos.
