    this is a first-rate effort and should be seen by anyone who likes Spider-man. The voice acting is superb as are 90% of the episode plots and scripts. Only little problem is that the episodes wrap up in about 20 minutes which doesn't leave a lot ...of time for plot exploration. But much is accomplished in these small chunks and the end result is truly entertaining. Read more Less

    I must admit that I was fascinated by the cel-shaded animation style which looks like a graphic novel comic book come to life. However, after watching the full season, I realized that for the most part this is a first-rate effort and should be seen ...by anyone who likes Spider-man. The voice acting is superb as are 90% of the episode plots and scripts. My only complaint (other than the character's clothing which is the same in every episode) is that the episodes wrap up in about 20 minutes which doesn't leave a lot of time for plot exploration. But much is accomplished in these small chunks and the end result is truly entertaining. The animation is some of the best I've ever seen. Be warned however, that there is a season-ending cliffhanger. While this is normally not a big deal, the show was reportedly dropped by MTV and season 2's fate remain a mystery. Read more Less
