Well, my title said it all. I really love the first 2 Spiderman, but this one really ANNOYED ME. I wonder how empty in idea of this movie. Putting aside the acting, which Peter and Mary did great jobs in last 2 and extended to this one, this movie is damn boring, imagine like u walk down the hall every day without any incident or big thing happen. I feel like "ok the next scene already on my head". But If ur a fan of Spiderman comic book, u might still love it

Pros: Action, character development

Cons: Perhaps a little long

It was a good movie overall - maybe not quite up to the same level as the prior two Spiderman movies, but still very entertaining. I liked that it was an internal struggle for Peter (Spiderman has always been a superhero we can all relate to -with flaws and everyday problems) and I enjoyed having multiple villians. The suspense, action, and great graphics were all there as in the prior movies.

This is a great entertaining movie. As a life long fan of Spider-Man comics. They really did a great job on the movie. Watching it or any movie in HD is the only way.

Pros: Can't think of any. Oh wait, J.K. Simmons ... J. Jonah Jameson

Cons: EVERYTHING. WAY too SAPPY.

I understand giving "deep" emotions to your characters. But I think every major character in this movie has a "special" moment where they broke down and had a personal "woe is me" moment. It's supposed to be a SUPER-HERO ACTION movie not a Lifetime channel MOV sob-fester. I couldn't wait for this train-wreck to end. And it's WAY TOO LONG (maybe it just seemed that way to me). Spider-Man's 1 and 2 are Great, this one's TERRIBLE. Don't believe me, check out the scores on Rotten Tomato: 1 got a 90%, 2 a 93% and 3 bottomed out at 63%.

Best Spider-Man movie yet!

Pros: Three villains, Black suit Spider-Man, good length

Cons: Harry Osborne dies

First off, I just have to say how good this movie is. Spider-Man 3 is by far the best superhero movie out at this time. Having three villains in one movie was just sheer genius. Perfect amounts of action and flashy battles, positive values, and the right touch of romance, this makes Spider-Man 3 truly a masterpiece.

I SAW THIS IN THE THEATRE & I KEPT WAITING FOR IT TO GET BETTER, BUT IT NEVER DID. I SAW DOZENS OF MOVIES THIS YEAR AND THIS WAS BY FAR THE WORST. I WISH I COULD GET BACK THE TIME I WASTED WATCHING THIS MOVIE.

Cons: Terrible Script, Not nearly comparable to the other two, Cheesy, Too Long

I went to the theater in full anticipation of the 3rd Spiderman only to leave disappointed. The script was beyond cheesy! I thought that the acting lacked in many scenes (including one of the final scenes where Spiderman and Harry make up). It wasn't nearly as exciting as it was hyped up to be. Plus, halfway through, I knew what was going to happen and I was ready to leave.

Spiderman 3 Proves That Sometimes Three IS A Crowd

Pros: The action sequences were rather impressive, along with the special effects.

Cons: There were far too many storylines in this movie; So many, in fact, that they bogged the movie down in itself.

This movie is one of those summer blockbusters that sadly did not live up to the hype. It was one of the most expensive movies ever made, according to news reports. And by this time, apparently has already more then recouped the cost of making it.

However, there are some issues with this movie, unlike the first two. Having three villians creates a few too many storylines. There is the storyline involving Peter and Mary Jane, Peter and himself, Peter and Harry and Mary Jane and Harry. If that is not enough, there is the storyline involving Eddie Brock and Peter. And of course, there is the storyline involving Sandman.

The multiple storylines are not the only downside. There are also issues with the plotholes, which will not be given away here. That would give away far too much of the movie.

The bonus features included on the 2-disc special edition do little to save this movie from itself. They are nothing more than a bunch of little fifteen-minute vignettes that look and sound like they were used as promotional pieces on HBO. They don't really go into the depath that they perhaps could have. The only realy enjoyable bonus feature is the "science of Sound" feature, whcih explains the scoring, soudn effects and more involved in the making of the movie. After that, the next best feature is the lead feature, which explains the creation of Sandman. Other than these two features, the rest are rather pointless and useless. They are just extras, and nothing more.

On the upside, there was plenty of action in this movie. And it was great to see Stan Lee making his mandatory cameo guest shot in yet another Marvel movie. The messages involving revenge and the power that anger can have over a person are very relevant to any and every society. So those are a positive.

Even though there are a lot of negatives in this movie, it is worth at least renting. Sadly, though having three characters, and three (or even more) storylines proves that three sometimes can truly be a crowd.
