Roots & Influences
Although essentially a ska band, Spider Nick the Maddogs have integrated rock, reggae, Latin, surf, and punk. Formed in 1996 in Long Island, the group has played an average of 100 shows each year. Both self-released albums, 1997's Voyage to the Palace of Kali and 1999's Firepit, carry the torch of third wave ska with an appreciation for traditional ska and reggae.
