    Pros: Touching, Everyday subjects, Fun

    Cons: Can be slow, dull for those not into the movie

    I never would have thought a documentary about the Scrips National Spelling Bee would be a great movie, but this certainly is. We watch a group of kids from a variety of backgrounds as they prepare for, and participate in, the most prestigious event ...in the world of spelling. This is a funny, moving movie that is exciting, all the more so because it is true. This opened the doors for the recent burst of spelling bee fever that seems to have swept across the country.
