Specimen
Specimen was one of the so-called "Batcave" glam punk bands of the early '80s, combining the influence of glam-rockers like T. Rex, David Bowie, and Adam Ant with the goth sensibilities of groups like Siouxsie and the Banshees. The group released a 1983 EP, Batastrophe, which compiled several U.K. singles, and also appeared on several compilations in the mid-'80s.
