    AWESOME RECORDING!

    Pros: THE SONGS ARE WELL-COMPOSED AND ARRANGED!

    Cons: NONE

    This recording was excellent from start to end! Their first selection "Fire Power" a magnificent burst into the recording, which was perfoemed by Mrs. Dorinda Clark-Cole, the third selection, (my favorite one) titled "When I Get Home&q...uot; a well-composed selection performed by Dr. Clark's baby girl, no other than the incomparable Karen Clark-Sheard. This selection had riffs, runs, scats, moans, and growls from start to end, that only Mrs Clark-Sheard is renowned for. The following selection was done by her aforesaid "Jazzy" daughter the one, the only, "earing preacher" Mrs Dorinda Clark-Cole. theres someting for everybody when you purchase this album. Hopefully its still abailable! YOULL LOVE IT TOO! Read more Less

Mattie Moss Clark

Dr. Mattie Moss Clark was a gospel choir director for most of her life, and is often credited as one of the first to teach three-part harmony to a choir. Born in 1925 in Selma, AL, Clark relocated to Detroit, MI, in 1958, and shortly thereafter organized the Southwest Michigan State Choir of the Church of God in Christ.
