    A Must Have!

    Pros: Vocals, Lyrics and Delivery!

    Cons: There are none! Such tracks as Snoring!

    Ledisi brings Neo Soul and Soul music to a whole nother level! She true brings it hard and strong all the while drawing you into her music with the subtley of a hypnotist! With Sassy SOngs Like Get Outta My Kitchen ( a nice way of sayin MYOB). Also C...atchy songs like You are My Friend,Free Again, Take Your time, make you wonder why you havent heard this girl all over the radio! Ledisi switches her Gosepely soulful delivery with Jazz Scats that would make Ella Fitzgerald Smile down in amazement from up above! Lyrically and Vocally she shows her chops with songs like Hotel ( a call to her lover she wants to be intimate with), Cofee ( a call to woman being physically abused), and Pap Loved to Love me ( A song about a girl who was abused by her father)! This salbum is a must have for those appreciate True Soulful Music! Ledisi is truly up there amongst Aretha Franklin,Minnie Ripperton,Patti Labelle and Anita Baker! Read more Less
