    Quite a bit less bleak and stolid than his Prototype single, "Still," or the Reese-laden "Technology" remix, "Soul Beat Runna" is Boymerang back on the Leaf tip, with stark, clean machine breaks laid over with a less nasty brand of aqueous atmospheres. Innovative, to be sure, but without succumbing to the lingering, post-1996 fever of darkness.
