This is the fourth release in this wonderful series that introduces children (and their parents!) to classical music. Highly intelligent yet appropriately child-friendly. Their signature format: Tr.1 work for narrator and orchestra; Tr. 2 short history of the work and its creation; Tr. 3 a major musical theme from Tr. 1 in a different musical genre - this time it is a mallet percussion version of march of the brooms with a drum and bugle corps; Tr. 4 a discussion of the music by the conductor with musical examples; Tr. 5 a splendid new recording of the original work without narration (good to download to you iPod, parents), Tr. 6 a kitchen percussion play-along track, makes it definitely worth the $16.98 price I paid for mine. ...
