    Pros: Small, light, easy to use

    Cons: VERY fragile

    I bought the camera as a birthday present for myself, and I LOVED IT....for the first 21 days. It stopped working, something was wrong with the lens, it sounded like it got stuck or something. Now I am cameraless due to the fact you have to send it b...ack to the manufacturer since you can't return to the store if your camera is not working!!! I hope I get it back soon.... Read more Less

    Great Pocket Camera

    Pros: Size/Portability

    Cons: Camera doesn't come with a case

    I wanted a camera that I can slip into my purse without making it bulky. I purchased the Sony Cybershot DSC-W70 before my husband and I left for our recent trip to Thailand, and this camera fit the bill! It easily fit into my small clutch purse and d...id not get in the way when we trekked around the country. Overall, I am happy with the picture quality. Some of the pictures taken in the dark were less than perfect, but I did not try to use the ISO settings, which may have helped the image quality. There are a handful of features I have not gotten around to learning yet. However, I was very pleased when I learned that there is a resolution setting for HDTV, the 16:9 aspect, so that images can be viewed nicely on a plasma TV. Uploading pictures to the computer was a snap. It's a great little camera! Read more Less

    Pros: small size,great picture,easy to use functions

    Cons: a little fragile

    I got this camera for my birthday. First day I used it the camera broke. Some type of lens malfunction. I was on vacation and I called sony to see if it was something that I couldn't figure out but no I had to send it back.They were very helpful.... But I decided to take it back to Best Buy were it was purchased. Even though I didn't have an extended warranty they replaced it anyway. So much for that story. This little camera is awesome. Great pictures just pointing and shooting which is what I wanted(I already have a big digital slr). Controls are easy to read which is important for those of us getting a little older. Fits no problem into my pocket. All in all a great little camera although I would recommend an extended warranty just to be safe. Read more Less

    Pros: very nice images,edit photos on camera,great resolution

    Cons: Slow when using flash

    Have this camera for about 6 mos. I love it, i'll never use film again !

    Pros: Small but powerful

    Cons: no action/sports mode

    I tend to take mostly action/sports and although the burst shot is very nice, I wish it had an action shot mode. Other than that it's a great camera and has a good price. And concidering its size and price it takes great photos.

    Pros: Easy to use, small.

    Cons: fragile

    I just recently purchased this camera from costco and I've been using it a lot the past few days. It takes great photos and the features are easily accessible. For those of you that are worried about warranty etc. I'd advise you to buy it fro...m Costco. They have the best return policy on electronics that I've come accross. Just make sure you keep the box and manuals and of course the receipt. Read more Less

    Pros: light, easy to use, great lens quality, fantastic macro feaures good price, great value for the buck. A great first digital camera

    Cons: shutter lag on action shots. cannot take timed exposures except in programmed mode

    My first digital camera. Got it early in 2007, and have learned a lot. If you see my photostream you can see the quality of the pictures. I am still learning..

    Pros: Clear pictures, great battery life, big LCD screen, small and light, cool looking, turn on and shoot instantly, timer, simplicity, auto focus, 5 different flashes, red eye reduction, and the screen displays what you are doing.

    Cons: Price, only 1 memory card brand, pictures are a little pink and gray, fuzzy at high settings, zoom practically useless, fussy in awkward lighting, hard to get true picture, no case, pictures just not what I had hoped.

    I bought this camera when it first came out (full price), so it crushes me to see how much money I could have saved if I would have waited. Honestly, it's a great little camera that takes good pictures of objects and people. It's very easy to... use, really just point and click. Great camera. The battery is amazing and it lasts for hours of use. Takes me about 3 - 4 hours to fully charge it from low and days to drain it. It's ready to take photos as soon as you turn it on and you can pretty much just pop photos until the cows come home without any real lag. It's got a timer, which is good for when I actually want to be in the shot. It's very small and sleek so you can stuff it anywhere and grab it whenever. The silver color makes it look like a real expensive piece of machinery. But, the pictures are never as colored as they should be. Skins are pink and no matter how much I fool with the 4 or 5 settings, I can't get colors to be more vibrant - always looking gray. I just want my pictures to look like what I am looking at. You do not get that with this camera. Purples look blue, reds become pink and skins again look weird. It has a problem with giving you all of the color you see and in stead making everything look gray. Also, you can't really zoom in on your photos since they get so fuzzy at high zoom levels. It does 5X9s well, but don't try to change the size. Flash makes the colors even worse and there are like 4 different flashes that all expose colors differently. All of the good photos drastically use up space on your memory and power. This is a great tourist camera for popping quick shots of places and getting a view of what you are seeing, but it's not going to make the pictures look like what you are looking at. This was my first digital camera and first real experience with cameras outside of throw aways. I just want photos that look beautiful and true... I am selling this and buying a Nikon D40x next.     DSC-W70, My opinion

    Cons: Slightly fragile

    Loved how easy it was to use this camera right out of the box, even for a novice like myself. Iv'e owned this camera over 7 months and I havn't encountered any problems so far.
