Pros: Great Camera Lens 16-105mm is out standing

Cons: Can't put it down

This Camera is very nice i own a A200 and wanted to up grade well i look at the Nikon D300 and some other but i had A mount lens so i jump head first .and now i see i made the correct choice this camera is very good remote control
HDMI DRO. don't think about it get one you will be glad you did.

Pros: Speed of use, superior colour infomation.

Cons: Non standard Flash hot shoe . Minor

The A700 is the bestt camera in the 12.magapixel range.
1 it has faster and accurate white balance modes.
2. A custom white balance can be obtained in seconds not in minutes as on other beands.
3. It has a built in colour temp meter when taking your WB from a grey-card. No other camera except Sony does this that I know of.
4.The image can be sharpened in both raw and Jpeg to make the Sony/ Minolta lenses shaper than the Carl Zeiss make on other brands.
5 The vast majority of images are reproduced less than A5 in size. The size of the sensor at this value is more than good o make well over 40 inches { 1 meter }
6. I is built strong. It has bounced twice on a lightly carpeted concrete floor from table height

Pros: Excellent Body, easy Navigation, Super Steady Shot, DRO, etc

Cons: Camera Display LCD color reproduction not quite true.

My First DSLR!. After months of reading and price comparisons, and trails at diff shops, I went for it. Now I just love it. few things which I think worth mentioning about it.
- Faster Focusing. Focusing modes and controls are designed with a lot of sense. easy to use.
- DRO feature works like magic. Brings out a lot of Details.
- Build quality is superb.
- SuperSteadyShot is quite good. So all lenses are 'image stabilized'. :)
- Big LCD display.
- Accepts two diff types of memory card. cool!
- And I like the Menu System. very easy to use.

Have just a complaint.
- The display colors are not true.

Go ahead and give a try, u wont be disappointed. Sony has done a very good job with this one. :D
