    I love this minidisc player because it is the latest with the best sowtare and technology about minidisc equipment today. It is the biggest one i have seen and is double the weight of most minidisc players but if you want a player that has all the f...eatures and is incredibly durable and shock proof, I sugest this player. I have had no problems with it and I was on of the first to buy it. I definately think that sony made it able to last long compared to their older models which is why i choose it but I barely fits into the case i just bought. Overall I would definatly say it is the best thing sony has done for the minidisc market making it usb compatable. Read more Less

    This L'il beauty is the 5th and the best MD I have owned. It's rugged, appealing and ergonomic in design. Clear, crisp highs with a very good low end of the sound spectrum. LP4 gives me very good reproduction with the convenience of close to 5 and a ...half hours of storage time. I put this L'il guy on shuffle, plug it into my car stereo using an adaptor and go days without hearing the same tune twice. In essence, I have a 5+ disc changer in one very small, good sonding unit. With "G" protection, I have not been able to make it skip. On SP, I have the sound equivalent to a CD. Using LP2, I have a very close <I can't tell the diff.> second to a CD. On LP4, I have a better sound than any cassette + 5 hours, 24 minutes on an 80 min. disc. I am totally enamoured and can find nothing I would improve on this particular MD. So far, two of my coworkers have listened to my Sports MD and have purchased one of their own... We are all happy campers!!! Thanks SONY :))Danny Garrett/Portland,Oregon Read more Less
