Pros: easy to use
Cons: does not support a generic 5 devices as touted.
It is good as a two component device only.

The most absurd warranty on the market, 90 days. Please gimme a break.
The return policy on serious stores is better than that!
So, on day #91, it suddenly stopped working. Resetting the unit didn't work. Changing batteries neither. Reprogramming it, nada.
So, I'm left with $15 of useless plastic, or $60 a year in remotes, as I need to replace this every trimester!

Initially a very good controller. Even works with PIP on my tv. Strong signal works from a good distance and always works well. However, do NOT lose your program code chart that comes with the remote. Very difficult to replace as I am currently finding out. The list is not readily available on the web (at least I haven't found it) And calling my local audio/video store didn't help either. Slow email reply from Sony also... my search continues. Otherwise, a good remote at a great price.
