    Poor Construction

    Pros: features are ok for the price

    Cons: poorly constructed, fragile

    The on/off switch stopped working within 2 months of use. When I had to use the car charger every time it was used, the flimsy wiring quickly wore out. Called Sears just days before the 90 day period ended... they swapped it out for me. I went ahead ...and spent $13 on the extended warranty just in case. Very surprized... usually Sony makes a good product, but I wouldn't recommend the Navu 44. Read more Less

    Pros: looks nice

    Cons: non functional

    I purchased a sony nvu-44 through sears on 2/1/2002 . I used it twice in the month of febuary . On march 15 ,2009 it would not power up . I called sears and they told me to call sony . Sony said they would "accomadate" me on a one time basi...s by allowing me to ship the unit to their repair faclity . I took exception to this . I will go somewhere other than sears to buy products made by companys other than sony from now on . Read more Less
