    Great for students

Pros: SKYPE, wifi, Yahoo, Google, MP3, internal speaker, QWERTY Keyboard, music "sharing"

Cons: special headphone jack adapter required (included), no cellular service, shape feels

The Sony MYLO is a fun product if you like to IM over Yahoo messenger, Google Talk or use SKYPE (Free VOIP service). It also is a PMP, able to view JPEG photos, play movies in MPEG4 and play MP3's with an integrated speaker or over headphones. U...nfortunately, the standard headphone jack is located on the end of a special handsfree cable that comes in the box. If you lost it, then you're pretty much only listening to music on its integrated speaker. The screen is nice, but kind of small for watching videos. (I'd rather use my PSP). The web browser is pretty cramped on it too, but much easier to use than on the PSP because of the built-in QWERTY keyboard. Battery life is pretty awesome if you use it regularly and overall, it feels sturdy in your hands. It is NOT A CELL PHONE. You'll need to know where there's Free Wifi Hotspots or a Starbucks (1yr Free T-Mobile Hotspot included) And that said, It's fine for tweens or students who will likely have lots of access to WiFi and like to drink that Seattle brew. Pros: portability

    Cons: quality

I think the Sony Mylo is a "one of a kind" PDA but, I have the mylo com-2 and its a lot better than the first one. First of the design is slim, sleek, And SHINY. It has a camera, instant messaging,(basically everything in the first one) and ...Even better WiFi. And the best thing is its $299. Read more Less

    Pros: Nothing

    Cons: Everything

This is a useless product, and isn't worth the money at all. Every single thing i could do on this i can do on cellphone, or an ipod touch, for that kind of money. the only thing that saves it is that it uses wifi, other than that don't buy. ...Its not worth the glam, even when its hard to find wifi that work and you really wouldn't have to pay for it...sucks bad value Read more Less

    My MyLo rOckS!

By Leiloh  Dec 14, 2007 | 2 out of 5 found this Sony Mylo COM-1 review helpful

Pros: Handy and pocket size mini laptop

Cons: keyboard has no backlight so in the dark you cant type unless you have your lights on. I cant watch videos in Youtube.

I love my Sony Mylo, i got it as a gift from my dad. The first time i saw it, i said this is it!. My mylo rocks my world!. I can stay online anytime, easy access because of its WiFi. Very handy and you can bring it anywhere. The price is okey, for a ...PDA that comes with a good quality because it is made in Japan, less worry because alot of gadgets that made in China are junks! With a 2 year warranty, including accidental damage, sure Sony will take care of it, and less worry for me.. Read more Less

    Buy a Psp!

By Fastmb  Dec 5, 2007 | 3 out of 11 found this Sony Mylo COM-1 review helpful

    Pros: Full Querty Keyboard Only

Cons: Screen , Theres better pdas for less

Buy a Psp instead , the Screen its Very Big (better for web browsing)almost 2x screen size of the Mylo and the resolution its better (480×272 Psp Vs. 320x240 Mylo)this means that the Screen of the Psp its more sharp, it has a Memory Stick Slot, al...so the new psp "Slim" can connect to the TV so u can browse the web on your TV very useful , it can also play movies , games & photos even you can stream it to the TV , and the most important psp also have Wi-fi , in price the Psp beats Mylo by far (169$ "core" black Psp "Slim" Vs. somewere between 200$ and 300$)hope this helps. :) Read more Less
