    If you own a computer and download music, minidisk is your choice. Portable cd/mp3 players have more space per disk, but are less portable, due to size and any strong movement makes the music stops. Portable mp3 players first of all are smaller, more... portable but limited. You have a defined number of memory and extra memory is expensive. Meanwhile the minidisk gives you everything, Portability, long life battery, sound quality and its not difficult to work with. Each minidisk can store upto 5 hours and 20 minutes of music, around 60-70 songs. Putting audio has never been as simple. I owned a previous minidisk, and all those recording problems are over. Buy media (minidisks) are not expensive, 1.25 per minidisk. This minidisk allows you to compress your audio into 3 different formats, stereo, lp2, lp4, stereo being best sound, and lp4 good sound.     This is the best recorder/player I've seen. It rips my CDs without a problem. The Net MD Simple burner software is very easy to use. The player is small enough to carry in your pocket. I absolutely love it.
