Headphone Remote With LCD provides direct access to the player's functions and displays song title, disc title, playback status and battery function. One Button, Easy Opening allows easy insertion and removal of MiniDisc. Powerful Digital Mega Bass Sound System With 3 Position Switch provides rich, deep bass tones with digital signal processing for virtually inaudible harmonic distortion. 10 Second Shock Resistant Memory resists bumps or vibrations while the laser scans ahead on the disc and stores 10 seconds of music in memory, for uninterrupted skip-free playback. Automatic Volume Limiter System (AVLS) maintains volume output below strong signal levels, for listener comfort. Multiple Playback Modes Including Normal, Repeat 1/All/Shuffle let you play through a MiniDisc from start to end, or repeat one track or all tracks, or play tracks in random (shuffle) order.

    Please don't buy this!!!

    Okay so all my friends said I was mad when I bought a sony md instead of a sharp like they all had... ha ha I learnt my lesson...I hated the fact that it ate batteries until I discovered using duracell ultras means it lasts a lot longer... (hint hi...nt the other person who reviewed this)The thing that bothers me is that after a year and a half of owning it and taking careful care of the damn thing the battery section is loose and the unit shorts out on a regular basis, plus some days it'll just decide that it doesn't like certain Mini Discs and then be fine with them the next...Personally I would not recommend this product... it wasn't the cheapest thing around and I don't think it was worth the extra money I paid... Do yourself a favour and buy something else! Read more Less

    MD E33, The price of beauty!!

    This is a beautiful piece of equipment, physically speaking. It sparkles and you WILL recieve alot of attention when you take it out. It's a lot better looking than more costly and recent models. But in terms of performance, and this being my 1st MD...man, I suggest you get good quality hdphones for better sound, little ones won't do. Battery wise; I thought that it only uses 1 battery was economical but I was wrong. batteries GO after a day or two(6hrs nonstop). The rechargable battery which it comes with dies within a day (4hrs nonstop). I also find that the remote also saps alot power and battery time. Bottom line: If you love compactness and futuristic beauty but are willing to carry xtra batteries and huge hdphones then this is perfect for you. Apart from these 2 negatives everything else is perfect compared to what I saw and tested of other MDmans at the store: 4 out of 5 stars! Read more Less
