I used have a Sony MDR-A34 headphone. Of course, compare to that one, this one is not very impressive. However, I consider it is a better than average headphone. Althogh it is a little bit lack power at low frequency area.

I saw these in the store for under $10 and decided to try them out. The sound is very good and they are much more comfortable than bud headphones. Plus, they are plenty loud with my Philips eXpanium mp3 cd player. Excellent value!
