Pros: Image quality, slim design, features

Cons: None that I can think of

The set up is easy and straightfoward, just take it out of the box, install the support base, plug in the HDMI cable and enjoy...
Image quality is outstanding, colors are bright and real, blacks are deep and HD details are always surprising; its like opening the window and seeing through it, in spite of having just Comcast HD.
The design is simple, smart and elegant. A one-inch black gloss piano edge, the crystal clear image and the floating speakers below; that's all you need from a TV. It does not have the 6+ additional inches per side of the XBR4/5 series that give you the feeling that your TV is bigger but just make it bulky, the image is still 46 inches in diagonal.
Sound could use some improvement, especially at low volumes but who cares, you'll plug it to a receiver anyway.
I tried to compare the image to the XBR8 but could not find them side by side in any store. On a stand alone basis they both look great and I did not see enough from the XBR8 to justify the price.
I bought this TV the week before Christmas at a spectacular price, I am enjoying every minute of it and, all things considered, it has the best quality+design+performanc
