    Pros: It's all Good!

    Cons: Except some dark issues in movies

    This TV is the brightest and clearest for HDTV viewing. I have not seen one that is much better. The ambient light does not distract from the quality (and my den is well lit during the day). Games/Sports are perfect no ghosting image issues. Blue Ray... DVD solves most darkness image issues. Read more Less

    Pros: Nice screen, Good size

    Cons: Poor picture quality, Too dark, gives reflection

    This unit was purchased about one month ago. I has only lived up to expectation as far as the size of the screen is concerned. The picture is too dark and cannot be brightened

    Pros: Picture, Remote, Size, Good looking TV

    Cons: I dont have more than one

    I bought my XBR4 almost a year ago and have had nothing but good things to say. Buying a good HDTV so it would last was my plan. Sony XBR4 is by far the better of many HDTVs I have seen. Friends who watch games at our house say its a great picture, a...nd they have HDTV at their house. Many HDMI ports in the back. I have also used it for my Computer works wonderfully. LCD sometimes get bad rating because of "ghosting" this HDTV has 120hz means it allows for fast movments on the screen no problems. Last of all this HDTV has a really cool glass border that gives it a modern classy look. Dont pass up the chance to buy this TV Read more Less

    Pros: Great picture and sound.

    Cons: I only have one!

    I purchased my KDL-53XBR4 in March 2008, and have been very satisfied from day one. All my HD programing looks great, especially sports. I have since purchased a 32" Sony for my bedroom, and plan to buy the XBR9. The only other brand I would con...sider buying is a Samsung. But, you cannot beat a Sony XBR matched with a Sony Blu-Ray Player. Read more Less

    Pros: great features

    Cons: expensive

    this is the second sony television in the best of the year category. the thing is, sony doesnt have anything other companies do...and they charge a little more for it. i sell tvs and hate to see people go to these assuming name brand is everything. i...ts really a sharp or a samsung panel with sony features installed. buy it if its at a good price. great tv with an awsome panel. dont buy it if the sharp or samsung are cheaper.
