    Pros: Excellent Value

    Cons: Sony is a great radio

    Had a Grundig Yacht Boy 400 Professional Eddition . I used this radio for a year . I later bought a Sony ICF7600GR . I have compared both side by side and the Sony ICF7600GR is a lot better on the shortwave and about the same on AM,FM bands . The sou...nd for me is a lot better on the Sony . Higher frequencys sound from the Sony make it easyer to hear then the grundig's lower frequency sound . I like the Sony ICF7600 so much that I have bought a spair as I feel this is a great radio . I will never need another one . Read more Less

    This SONY radio was short lived

    Pros: Nice features

    Cons: When it goes, it's trash

    This Sony radio would have been a great radio if it were made to last longer or if it were less expensive or if it were repairable. Mine lasted for only two years even though it was used exclusively in the house and was well cared for. I called custo...mer service and was told that they are not repairable. The only option was to have it replaced with a refurbished unit for almost the price of a new one. I would not recommend any SONY product. Read more Less
