Pros: 4GB storage
Cons: Interface, battery life
Phone is definately music oriented - for one it doesn't have a camera. The lack of one has gathered its fair share of critisisms, but the decision for not having one or rather the need for one still boils to personal preference. The phone is still generally an mp3 player that can make calls.
The 4GB storage is its main attaction, substantially large enough for music and even multimedia files. Add-on software can extend this capability. The expanded contact list and calendaring tools are similar to other newer SE models. Though it has internet browsing capabilities its not a strong point either.
For all its hardware the big let down is the soft interface. The large touch screen is really still not designed to be touched (by your fingers) - you're still depend heavily on the stylus. This would be fine for 'PDA operations' such as scribling a note but not really practical for typical 'phone' or 'music player' tasks. The phone has a clickable 'jog wheel' to address this but not for all operations.
For a music player operations like tweaking the equalizer or arranging the tracks in your playlist can be a chore.
Battery life wil not last you 12 hours if you intend to have the msic playing non-stop.
Other nuances:
The phone takes a while to 'boot' and the PC suite is buggy.
The play button (right side of the phone) - the key lock has no effect on this what so ever. If you accidentally press this and you have tracks loaded on the music player, music will come blaring out its external speakers. ...
