This is the first DVD player to incorporate Sony's exclusive Disc Explorer 200 Disc Management System. The DVP-CX850D gives you control of an entire library of DVDs and CDs.     CDs and DVDs jammed too frequently. It even destroyed two CDs. I own a different Sony cd changer and it has always worked fine. I also do not like the TV based search mechanism. I have a friend who bought one of these and has the same problems.

    Great & convienent except for title

    This is a great piece of equipment & extremely convienent especially if you have other Sony devices such as tuner. The only issue for us is the titles, it only recognizes 1/2 the titles, which is a problem when you have 200 discs and can't find them.... Then if you type one in and take it out when you travel for your laptop, you come back and have to type it in again. Sony also promised to send a cd with jacket pictures, needless to say, I haven't seen it yet. This may seem petty, but it makes the changer difficult to use. Read more Less
