Product Description: Sony DSR-V10
DVCAM Format offers high quality video and audio and reliability for professional use. In addition, it is capable of playing back consumer DV format tapes (SP mode only). The camera incorporates a 5.5-inch LCD. This allows for easy field monitoring of your acquired video and it can also serve as a handy desktop office viewer. With this handy display, there is no need for an additional monitor. By incorporating a compact VTR mechanism, the DSR-V10 is extremely small and lightweight. With InfoLITHIUM batteries, the DSR-V10 can indicate precisely the remaining battery time with up-to-a-minute accuracy. In addition, thanks to this battery system and the unit's low power consumption, the DSR-V10 offers long battery life. More than 2.5 hours of consecutive recording and playback is possible with the LCD on, using the fully charged NP-F950, for example. The DSR-V10 incorporates the i.LINK (DV IN/OUT) interface which is based on the IEEE 1394 standards. It allows digital video/audio signal transfer with other VTRs and computers using a single wire connection. With this connection, the source material can be dubbed and edited without any deterioration of video and audio quality.
