    Pros: Sounds excellent playing music or movies.

    Cons: Menu is a little tricky

    I had a Panasonic unit for 3 yrs. The movies sounded pretty good but the music always sounded tinny. The unit was problematic and after replacing it once and having it serviced 3x I was able to get store credit to replace it. This is where the Sony D...ream System DAV-FR1 comes in. From the moment I set it up it has been spectatcular. The music is crisp but not tinny. The highs are clear and lows are full. I have been watching movies non stop since I brought it home and I feel like I'm experiencing them for the first time. Don't think twice. This is the best you can get in this price range and I bet it is competitive with pricier units. Read more Less
