    Great deal!

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Mar 19, 2007 | 4 out of 4 found this Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T100B review helpful

Pros: Good value for money! x5 zoom, good battery life, 8 MP, great movie quality, huge screen.

Cons: bad quality pictures at night. High ISO is very noisy.

I got this camera a week ago and should admit I am quite satisfied with it. I was planning to buy T10 as some of my friends are using it and pictures are amazing. But when I went to the store I saw T100 which was just shipped and I fell in love with ...this camera. Really good quality pictures during day time. I am sure you gonna enjoy this camera! Sony Cyber Shot DSC-T100

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Feb 1, 2008

Pros: Affordable, slim, very large screen, easy to operate

Cons: battery runs down too soon, some shutter lag

Bought this camera in July of 2007. This was my first digital purchase and I found it very easy to navigate. My favorite is the large screen and good value.

    Great camera!

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Oct 29, 2007

    Pros: Everything

    Cons: Nothing

I love this thing. I've probably taken close to 5,000 pictures so far this year. Great camera. More durable than the cheaper models.

    T100 black

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Sep 28, 2007

Pros: nice lcd..photo editing feature & slideshow...

Cons: im not satisfied on the auto mode, it takes time for me to get the perfect setting/preset for a low light environment, more noise on photo quality at high ISO (can be observed if photo is viewed on computer)

i got this expensive camera and im a beginner for using this, its so small than my P&S kodak cx7430(phased out in my country)... it has bigger lcd with a high resolution (which somehow similar to my sony dvd dcr705, only this t100 is not ...a touchscreen)i like the battery because it lasted long and i have another 2 reserved...2gb memory stick which gives me around 600 photos at 8 megapixel... well its a nice camera after all. Beautiful Camera

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Sep 5, 2007

Pros: 5X Optical Zoom, 3.0" Lcd screen, Good battery life, Beautiful design

Cons: Overall Image Quality could be alittle better

I bought the DSCT100 Red mid August 2007. After nearly 3 weeks of snapping with almost all types of settings, i noticed the following: Daylight shots tend to have those fuzzy edges when zoomed in at max resolution..the kind of edges you get when tak...ing shots with a camera phone. Not that noticable at normal view, and therefore not a big issue. Macro shots are excellent. I especially love the extreme macro feature, when you can take clear shots at almost point blank to the lenses The Camera design is beautiful..sleek, compact & stylish. The slide feature adds to the style, and offers good protection to the lense. I originally wanted the black color (i love black), but stock was only available for red. But i have to say, the red is not bad at all...very sexy & vibrant. Overall, I'm glad i bought this camera...well, so is my gf, since she will be getting my Casio EX-Z500 :) Read more Less

    Too Good

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Aug 19, 2007

Pros: stylish looks, x5 zoom, great speed of shots, clear video

Cons: would have liked a touchscreen along with image manipulation feature like T50.

i have used T50 and T100 both and find T100 very cute and fantastic. but love the touchscreen and image editing stuff of T50.. Sony should merge features and that would awesome.

    Pocket Camera

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Aug 14, 2007

Pros: Awesome 3" vivid screen, 5x Optical zoom, can zoom and video simultaniously, download music to a slideshow, excellent in low light, starts fast and comes with a CD that gives you everything you need for the camera.

Cons: Can't change "review" time after taking a shot, can't go back to a previous screen without exiting each time. The book is useless, you must run the CD that comes with it.

Overall, awesome camera. ANY pocket camera should instructions read. Automatic works good but in some lighting, it's amazing how great the pics come out when you adjust the setting just a little, which is extremely easy and fast with the Sony T10...0. I almost went with a Cannon Powershot but for just a little more money I like the 5x Optical zoom with 3" screen. Low light shots are so bright and clear as long as you DON'T use a flash. Buttons are small so it may be difficult if you're female with long nails. Takes incredible close up shots to with quick access button to change settings fast. This camera is a no brainer unless you don't want to spend a little more money for the bang. Read more Less

    Sony CyberShot DSC-T100 Black

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Jun 2, 2007

Pros: The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T100 is a slim point-and-shoot whose generous feature set, great photos, and quick performance make it an excellent choice for a pocket camera

    Cons: .....

The latest in a long line of stylish cameras, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T100 shares the same slim, metallic profile and signature sliding lens cover/power switch as the rest of the Cyber-shot T-series. Don't let the DSC-T100's pretty face fool ...you, though; this handy shooter proves that you can have plenty of substance with your style. The camera's easily pocketable, all-metal body measures just 0.875-inch thick and weighs a bit more than six ounces. It comes in silver, black, and red, so you can have your choice of colors. Despite its sensibly laid out controls, the DSC-T100 still sacrifices some of its function for form; the camera's buttons feel smaller and more shallow than I would like and can be a bit tricky for large thumbs. A surprisingly strong heart beats beneath the DSC-T100's slim, shiny exterior. The 8-megapixel camera features a 35mm-to-175mm-equivalent 5x zoom Zeiss lens, a notable upgrade over previous T-series cameras' 3x zoom lenses. Its 3-inch screen supplies an extremely wide view; the display stays clear and colorful, even when looking at it from a near-90-degree angle in any direction. The T100 uses Sony's Super SteadyShot optical image stabilization and can boost its sensitivity to as high as ISO 3,200 for low-light and high-speed shooting. The camera also features a 9-point autofocus mode, an extremely useful feature normally found on much higher-end cameras such as digital SLRs. The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T100's firmware offers almost as many useful features as its hardware does. Its face-detection mode automatically adjusts exposures when shooting family photos. You can also tweak color, correct red-eye, and even apply different effects such as fish-eye and cross filter, all within the camera. The T100 can also output MP3-playing slide shows to standard definition TVs with the included RCA video cable, or to high-definition TVs with an optional component-video cable. It also works with Sony's CSS-HD1 Cyber-shot Station, a dock with a remote and HD component output support. If you plan on viewing your photos on an HDTV, we highly recommend the component cable or dock option. Read more Less
