    Pros: Best Buy for your money

    The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P150 is a good by for everything you get. It's compact, takes near professional pictures and is easy to use.It's perfect for someone who doesn't want to lug around a Large SLR Digital Camera but still get near pro...fessional quality photos. You can also add lens attachments such as a telephoto lens (for faraway shots and a wide angle lens (to capture a wide area).It's the camera I have been waiting for. Read more Less

    Pros: Shutter speed faster, picture clarity much better

    Cons: Haven't found one yet!

    I love this camera. I had the Sony DSC-P9 for about 3 years. While I really liked that camera too there were some things left to be desired. For example the shutter speed was slow so I'd have to wait between taking pictures (that can be a problem... when you have an action scene going on). Also, the autofocus wasn't that great so sometimes the pictures came out more on the fuzzy side and then because I had to wait to take another picture I sometimes lost my shot completely. The new DSC-P150 is fantastic. While there still is a delay between picture taking it is only a few seconds compared with 15-20 seconds with my old camera. Sony fixed everything about their old cybershot cameras and then made them more compact and easier to use. I know I can hand my camera off to someone to take a picture and not worry about the quality of the image or if they know how to use it. This is one of the best birthday gifts I've gotten in a while!     Pros: -Overall good quality pics

    Cons: -Reliability - Included software

    This is my third camera owned after a Canon Powershot S300 and an Olympus Verve. Pictures are clear with a great 7 MP definition, good colors (worst than my Powerswhot but better than my Olympus); After 6 months of use the power button does not wor...k OK anymore and camera turns on/off just by barely touching the button -which is very annoying-. Great startup time -I never miss a shot- and easy setup for most shots. Manual mode is neat for special shots in every condition of light and special effects. Flash is poor but OK for a small camera like this. It has no panorama mode or software that allows to merge together images. Movie mode is great for a still camera. Included software is disappointing! There is no picture organizer, and for the only neat feature (slideshow) you have to pay to get decent themes. Read more Less

    Pros: Did not find any bad point

    Cons: Worth to spend money

    I had different cameras but this Sony DSC-P150 is the best one. It's small, handy and excellent quality of picture especially take video clips. Battery last for long time even use flash. Very easy to operate and no complecations. I will recomme...nd people to buy this camera. Sony made a best camera. Read more Less

    Not happy with quality of pictures

    Pros: slim

    Cons: blury picures in dim/darker places/ no image stabilization/

    If sony would add image stabilization than it would be great came. But now, I am very disappointed.

    small and great for movies

    Cons: 7mp doesn't mean more detail

    Image quality with this camera is good, but the huge number of megapixels does not really equate to finer detail in the images -- just bigger file sizes. The problem is that the sensor is still much smaller than that of a dslr. If you get a memory st...ick pro card, you can shoot the highest quality video, which is very impressive for such a small gizmo. there are some manual settings, but i'm starting to grow out of this camera. the burst mode is cool and very fast, but does not take very high resolution images, since all of the images get crammed into one image in a sequence. lt's great to carry everywhere because it's so small. For that reason, if I got a dslr, I'd still probably use this the most. Read more Less

    Pros: Very handy and light weight

    Cons: Not a good night camera

    I love the easy use of the camera. I don't have any problems when wanting to print any pics out, unless they are blurry. I do not like the fact that it is not a good camera to use at night. The flash is great but if you don't use the illum...inator your out of luck. Don't have any problems as far as the memory sticks are concerned either. I am going to look for another Sony camera soon, but this one is great for now!! Read more Less

    Printed terrible pics in auto focus

    Cons: pics printed bad

    I took the exact picture in auto focus with two other digital cameras and the SONY as well..all in AUTO FOCUS. The pictures on the SONY camera's screen look great and on the moniter screen.The printed pics was not the same. The sony pics were ter...rible printed. The other two cameras printed alot better pics. I was very excited about this camera but I believe I will return the Sony and spend a lot less $$ on a camera that prints better pics when I use auto focus. Read more Less
