Too advanced for it's own good

    Pros: It swivels...

Cons: The picture without hdmi is bad, there are trails behind fast moving things. Older components (ie dvd, video games) MUST be replaced with newer ones

This TV has been nothing but a hassle. Right out of the box, the tv was blurry and had lines going through it, upon calling sony, they sent a repair man about 2 weeks later... I have an xbox and a dvd player, which according to the repair man, are ob...solete and need to be replaced with more modern equipment (despite no problems with my 52 inch hitachi hdtv). The hd cable box does not work particularly well because they have not yet come out with an hdmi input, which also according to the repair man, will make it look nicer. Basically for around $1000, most people will be forced to spend another few hundred just for new components. As tv's get more advanced, they should be able to work with more components, not less. Overall, if this tv did not cost what it did, it would be nice. However, for this spectacular price, you get an unspectacular picture. Read more Less

    Pros: Think it is great

Cons: None really. Would be nice to have the ability of delete channel labeling when cable companies change channels.

We currently own one and looking for another for the bedroom. Very satisfied as shown by the fact we are looking for another.
