    Pros: Hmmm price?

    Cons: Broken

    I bought this unit on Black Friday 2008...Had constant issues with player from day 1..freeze up..wont play discs. A real piece of junk I think. Don't recommend Sony after this issue..Am @ this time on hold with them to discuss this item and have been on hold for 22 minutes..so much for service I guess.

    Great for the money

    Pros: Picture is great. Played every movie perfectly so far. Small size. I like the interface, alot like the ps3's.

    Cons: Have to use an external usb flash drive for bd live.

    This is the second bluray player that i've tried other than my playstation 3. The first was a Sharp and I was really dissapointed. It was very slow at starting up and the second movie I watched, Hostel 2 , froze up and was unwatchable for part of the movie, and also Hellboy 2 had a glitch and one other movie. I was just about ready to shell out 400 bucks for another playstation but tried this Sony first. I plugged it in to my router it set up with my network on its own. Updated it and started watching movies. No problems whatsoever and the menu's and remote are easy to use and look nice. Only gripe I really had about it is you have to use a usb flash drive in the back to use bd live. I dont know why they couldn't have put the memory in the player.
