Pros: Aquired signal quickly, navigation was excellent in Virginia and loved the split screen during turns

Cons: A little sluggish and doesn't have feathers such as MP3 or Bluetooth

I have been wanting to buy a GPS unit for a few months now. I'm into electronics and have read a lot of reviews and was thinking of getting a Garmin. But my wift got this unit for me from Radioshack for my Birthday and I'm pretty impressed.

My friend has a Garmin nuvi 350 and I have seen the feathers that it has. The Sony U73T performed all the GPS functions that was available in the Garmin and was better in some regards. I loved the Split screen functionality it provides when approaching a turn. It provides sufficient notice of upcoming turns. It has a pretty decent POI database as well.

The unit is a little slow at responding to touch but nothing that I couldn't get used to.

I'll sure recommend it if all you are looking for is an efficient GPS. If you are looking for GPS plus other feathers such as MP3 or Bluetooth and looking for quick response to touch then you should look at the Garmin
