Puerto Rican Latin rock project Sonrisa Vertical was created by ex-Vértigo and Barbarella singer/guitarist Carlos Justiniano in 1999. In addition, the talented musician formed Primavera 0: Tributo a Soda Stereo, performing Soda Stereo's classics along with drummer Rolando D'Lugo and Celos de Daphne singer/bassist Arnaldo Elias. Sonrisa Vertical's self-titled debut album was recorded in 2001, produced by Vestor Salomon.
