Sonic's Rendezvous Band only (officially) released one 45 rpm single, City Slang, but generated intense interest among rock roll and punk aficionados because of its Detroit-area all-star membership: MC5 guitarist Fred "Sonic" Smith, Stooges drummer Scott Asheton, Up bassist Gary Rasmussen, and Rationals guitarist/vocalist Scott Morgan.
