Pro Reviews: Songwriters Collection
| EXPERT RATING: From AMG Reviews Yet again, the Park South label has slapped a classic songwriter in the face with a heartless synthesizer and drum machine tribute to the music of Irving Berlin. What's more appalling is that they apparently think the general public too stupid to care what versions of "There's No Business Like Show Business" is coming from the stereo. This is atrocious; there are plenty of Irving Berlin collections available which are a fitting tribute to the songwriter making this one a collection to pass by. - Gregory McIntosh, All Music Guide |
