Jodi Benson, the voice of Ariel, the Little Mermaid of Disney fame, sings a set of inspirational songs for kids. Her heartfelt vocals are enjoyable, and despite the Christian messages in each song, the disc is rarely heavy-handed. Lighthearted but not lightweight, Guideposts Junction is enticing fare for kids and parents on both a secular and religious level. The title track and "God Sees Inside Me" are perhaps the best tracks, though it's hard to go wrong with this set of zesty paeans to God and family.
