Songs in the key of GREATNESS!!!

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Dec 5, 2006

    Pros: Everything

    Cons: Not a DAMN thing!!

Stevie Wonder was already a star when he produced this album and things were looking up for him. This CD just boosted his status as a musical icon and is considered by many as his BEST album ever. I first got introduced to Stevie Wonder by listening to this album because I was more into Michael Jackson growing up. My Granny played this one day as she was cleaning the house and that was a life changing experience. Every song on BOTH CD’s is a classic. I can see why this CD did so well and got those Grammy’s. “Summer Soft” is my all time favorite song from the first CD and on the second , it would be “Isn’t She Lovely”. Not to say I don’t like the other songs. I mean, who don’t like “Loves In Need Of Love”, “Sir Duke”, and “I Wish”? Stevie Did it with this one and he showed no signs of slowing down after this came out. This man will go down in history as one of the best musicians ever (Listen to him play the drums, Harmonica and ANY synthesizer and you’ll see why). If any of today’s artist needs an example of greatness, they should take after Stevie‘s.

    Pastime Paradise

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Aug 21, 2006

    Pros: Lyrics are Excellent!!

    Cons: None

Stevie Wonder became fully recognized in the world of music with this release.

A few songs in this series were either sampled or redone by hip-hop artists looking for a quick buck without any real sacrifice.

"Knocks Me Off My Feet" is one of the best love songs/ballads to come out of that generation of decent music.

    THE BEST Album Of 1976!!!!

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Feb 12, 2006

Pros: Stirring,Diverse And Creative On All Ends

    Cons: Absolutely None

Stevie Wonder was trying to make the best album of his already sixteen year long career with 'Songs In The Key Of Life' and at the time he succeeded magnificantly. There's alot of music here, over twenty songs but each is excellent.Everyone has a list of favorite songs from this epic but here is mine:"As","
    ;Contusion","Su
    mmer Soft","I Am Singing","Pasti
    me Paradise","Anot
her Star" and (my absolute favorite) "Black Man",a perfect example of Stevie Wonder's tradition of a history lesson you can get seriously funky with.It should be required listening every black history month. This is truly a brilliant album of many moods, textures and styles all blended into one man's vision and I think every should here it.

A Masterful Collection of Stevie's work

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Sep 2, 2001

This is the starting point for any listener to discover Stevie's insight into life, love and happiness. You will undoubtedly recognize many of the hits that scatter this double album (CD), as well as find a great number of gems that never received much airplay.

    SITKOL

Although there are some pretty boring tracks on this album, the good tracks definately outweigh the bad (eg. knocks me off my feet & summer soft - wicked songs!).

    Pure Beauty

By Yahoo! Shopping User  May 21, 2001

This album can not be described in words. One must listen to understnd how unbelievable it actually is. And when I say unbelievable, I mean that it is very hard to believe that a musician can come up with such groundbreaking, uplifting, funky, emotional music. An album like this one only comes around once every ten or fifteen years. This is one of them.

    THE TALENTED MR WONDER

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Nov 6, 1999

Stevie Wonder is by far the most talented musician to ever walk this planet. This is one album everyone should own, you will marvel at how talented he is (PURE GENIUS). It contains probably the best love song ever 'As' recently covered by George Michael and Mary J Blige. There are far too many good songs on here to mention. The landmark for rythym in todays music. Thank you Stevie for brightening up my life with this, It truly makes you happy to be alive.
