    Pros: Well Produced,Well Crafted Music

Cons: Filed Under Jazz When It's Pure Funky R&B

This is probably my favorite Ronnie Laws album. This guy used to be in Earth,Wind & Fire for five minutes (lol) and it sort of shows. He sure throws on the soulful songcraft on "Stay Awake","Your Stuff","Summer Day Song" a...nd "Good Feelings",all vocal pieces with plenty of sugar and spice punctuating them.Even instrumentals such as "Heavy On Easy" and the title song have the same musical flavor. This music will dissappoint most jazz fans mainly because it's an R&B album found in the jazz section.Do you see similar sounding albums by EWF,The Jacksons,Heatwave or Lakeside thrown into jazz sections?Nuff said.
