The genesis for this group was MC Megaman and MC Romeo, both of whom were promoting various British garage club shows as well as other parties. The parties, named ~So Solid as part of the promotions, grew in popularity. In 1998, while meeting at the ~Killer Watt Carnival Soundsystem, the group was created.
