    Big Time Spoiler Alert: The Bandit is commissioned by Big and Little Enis Burdette to haul 400 cases of Bootlegged Coors Beer from Texarkana, Texas to Atlanta, Georgia in 28 hours. The Bandit hires up the services of his recently out of jail good bud...dy The Snowman to drive the Tractor Trailer Truck while Bandit drives a big black Trans Am Car to distract the police away from the illegal shipment. Not only are reputations at stake but so is a prize of $80'000.00 which Bandit and Snowman want more than anything else in this world. On the way back from Texarkana Bandit picks up Carrie a dancer girl on the run from a shot gun wedding set up by obsessive compulsive Sheriff Buford T. Justice for his not so bright son Junior. Bandit and Carrie build up some what of romance along the wild and crazy adventure. Snowman at one point sees some action when he stops off at a truckstop to suckup some Go Go Juice and get some groceries down his neck. He winds up fighting a bar room full of bikers and then drives his big rig over their motorcycles which is the self deserved highlight of the whole movie. The movie ends with Snowman Bandit and Carrie being hired to make a run up to Boston, to bring back some Clam Chowder in 14 hours. It is double or nothing and the deal is accepted. Buford T. Justice is once again in high speed pursuit as he chases the Bandit and crew in his totally wrecked cop car. Read more Less

    this is a kick-ass movie that must be seen by everyone. never will a movie be made ever again that combines excellent cussing with great acting.

    If you like movies with action & comedy, check this one out! Burt Reynolds is in the zone playing The Bandit, a legend truck driver who has placed a bet to buy a truckload of beer from Texas, where it's legal, & haul it back to where it's illegal. A...long the way he runs afoul with Bufor T. Justice, played superbly by Jackie Gleason, a Texas Smokey who is determined to get him! It's great fun! Read more Less
