Los Angeles new wave pop duo Slow Children formed in the late '70s as a full-fledged band that included future Bangles bassist Michael Steele, but by the time they secured a record deal, their membership was down to vocalist Pal Shazar and guitarist/vocalist Andrew Chinich.
