Cons: No Mac version yet
I just bought a slingbox, and it just works. I don't remember the last time i set up a hardware and a software on my PC and it worked without any problem.
I now watch my TV on my PC anywhere where i have broadband.
Easy to use, good video quality (if you have a good broadband connection).
The Mac version is on its way.
Note that if you have one receiver only, you can not watch a different program on your PC than at home (ie, if someone is at home watching TV, you'll have to watch the same program). ...

Pros: The good: Works with PCs and Windows Mobile handhelds and cell phones; simple, straightforward setup; no host PC or monthly charges required; decent video quality; easy-to-use viewing software
Cons: The bad: No built-in wireless networking support; monopolizes the attached device; may not have necessary IR codes to fully operate your cable box; works with only Windows XP/2000 PCs and Windows Mobile devices (so far).
