This Disney movie was the most expensive and most time consuming film of that time. Disney movies still capture the heart of a little girl. It will always remain my favorite Disney movie of all time!

It is a good children's video. I wouldn't let little kids about five and under watch it if they're afraid of monsters and dragons. I would get this video for my kids. It is one of the greatest Disney Classics out there.

it's a great movie to watch. that song(ONCE UPON A DREAM)is a great song. the 3 good fairies are funny.on the scale of 1-10: i give sleeping beauty a 10!

As a child, I watched that movie and loved it very much. It was ten years ago and used to be on TV. Me and my sisters loved it, the characters, music (Once Upon a Dream) and everything else. When it was re-released back in 1995 to theatres (in my country), I went seeing it and I had flashbacks of my childhood seeing that movie when I heard the written above song. I couldn't wait to purchase it on VCR and I truly enjoy it. I don't know why critics went against it back in '59. It has nothing that reminds Snow White or Cinderella and it has its own magic.
What? All of these three play with animals and sing to them? tell their dreams? Cinderella would have to be reminding of Snow White then. It is a must-see movie. Purchase it now!Was this review helpful? Yes - No
