   Pros: You feel early Van Halen in every song

   Cons: It's Pop feel dates it and can make it seem a bit cheesey

   Great Album... To me this is the direction Van Halen would have gone, if the split never happened... Every song on the album has a great hook... Hot-Dog and Shake is a song in the same party vain as Everybody Wants some, or Beutiful Gilrs... Knuckl of Panama. Hina is definately in the same vain of Little Guitars. And Two Fools, is classic DLR with almost a humerous loungy feel...
   
   Downside is that it is completely overproduced... It makes it feel cheesier than it has to, and definatley dates it as a late '80s album.
   
   Like many 1984 tracks that were begginning to get Pop-y... This music does not have that timless feel of early VH...
   
   Once you get past the producing, you can see that this album has great tunes right in line with what everyone loved about DLR's Van Halen, but with an updated and more polished feel. I would reccomend it to anyone who liked the Dave Years! ...
