Synopsis: Skateboard (1977)

Steve Mc Queen's son, Chad, stars in this film about a local skateboard team organized by a gambler who is having trouble keeping his bookie at bay. Together, he and his team prepare for a championship tournament, hoping to win the $20,000 prize.

    Hey, the movie is old...but who would have thought that almost 25 years later skateboarding would turn into a multi-million dollar business and spawn such activities like the X-Games? This movie contains footage of vintage skateboard tricks and feat...ures some of the best skaters of the mid 70's like Tony Alva, Jay Adams, and Stacey Peralta. If you grew up loving to skate, pick up this vintage flick....if you can find it. Read more Less
